Equs
Equs
An ambitious application that aimed to provide self-sovereign identity solutions, digital credentials, and crypto-currency management functionality. Users could buy and sell various tokens and NFTs on various networks, accept digitally signed credentials created from the backend, and share credentials with other users. The goal was to provide a way for users to share credentialed documents (for example, medical records or state issued drivers licenses) with other users in an anonymous manner, and revoke those credentials when desired (removing the documents from those to whom they were issued).
Notable Functionality:
Makes use of push notifications to alert the user of incoming credentials, financial transactions, etc.
Uses the phone camera to scan QR codes.
Communication with the backend using a RESTful API over HTTP requests.
Uses various techniques for coordination of multi-threaded asynchronous communication.
Integrated the Persona library to perform face scanning, facial recognition, and KYC functionality.
Written in Swift using UIKit and some SwiftUI, with heavy use of C libraries.
